Service

We treat our patients with procedures and methods that enhance beauty, and slow the effects of aging. We realize that emphasis must be placed on prevention; therefore we educate our patients on proper skin care techniques, nutrition, vitamin supplementation, and we design skin care regimens according to the individual needs of the patient. We schedule fewer patients per day than most practices so that we have the time to discuss your skin issues at length. Because of this, patients rarely wait longer than 5 minutes for their appointment.

Research

A large part of our practice is dedicated to researching cosmetic ingredients and treatments. We perform clinical trials, FDA trials and other research with many major pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and herbal medicine companies. In addition, we perform our own research to develop new cosmetic treatments and to examine the efficacy of currently used therapies.

Education

The doctors at UMCC train dermatologists from other countries and dermatology residents about the scientific issues of cosmetic dermatology. There are usually several dermatologists observing in the office. However, the privacy of our patients is important to us and patients are always asked first if these other doctors are allowed to observe. In addition, our doctors are invited to lecture world wide on cosmetic issues and serve on many advisory boards, in addition to authoring textbooks and other publications.
