Dr. Kaufman is a native of South Florida and completed her medical school and dermatology training at the Baumann Cosmetic & Research Institute.  She was in private practice in the South Miami area for 4 years before she rejoined the University as the Director of Geriatrics and Anti-Aging. She has a special interest in laser treatments and is also involved in several aspects of anti-aging and cosmetic research.
