Clinical Research Trials

At Baumann Cosmetic & Research Institute, our goal is to promote treatments that have a scientific basis and work for our patients. To that end, we are a leader in the field of clinical research, evaluating the safety and efficacy of cosmetic dermatology products and procedures.

We've performed over 40 clinical trials in this area and currently have many other studies ongoing. We have a cosmetic patient roster of over 5,000 patientsand work in tandem with 15 dermatologists at the Baumann Cosmetic & Research Institute – who combine to see over 100,000 patients a year.

We are also frequently sought out to conduct clinical trials because of our attention to detail, our extensive experience and resources, and our ability to quickly publish study results.

Clinical trials and studies have recently been conducted on the following topics:

• Investigational treatment on mild to severe acne in adults ages 18 to 39
• Botulinum toxin for excess sweating of palms
• Botulinum toxin for crow's feet
• Safety and efficacy of a topical cream for photoaging
• Safety and efficacy of a topical cream for melasma
