Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are substances that can be injected into the skin to "fill in" and improve the appearance of fine and deep lines, plump lips and ear lobes, fill out hollow cheeks and reduce the appearance of scars. The result is a smoother, more youthful appearance with minimal downtime and maximum safety. Several different fillers are often used together, and hyaluronic (HA) fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Perlane can be used over large areas like the cheekbones and jaw lines to increase, enhance and improve facial volume, providing a more youthful appearance. These HA fillers can last anywhere from six months to a year, and are reversible with an injection of hyaluronidase. The goal of dermal fillers is to produce a natural rejuvenated look.
