However, dermabrasion is not as popular as laser surgery because it requires immense skill and takes years to learn. Dr. Mandy has been performing dermabrasion for over 30 years and has written many textbook chapters on the subject. He is famous for his surgical skills and teaches hands on training courses on liposuction and dermabrasion. In addition, he is currently the President of the American Society of Dermatology Surgery.
