Aging
The free radical theory of aging was proposed in 1956. It states that aging is a result of free radical formation that leads to inflammation and cell damage. This process takes place in your arteries, heart, and other organs as well as your skin.
The doctors in our center will educate you about how to decrease your levels of free radicals and other ways to slow the aging process. Of course we will discuss skin care and lifestyle issues with you, but we will also discuss procedures that can combat the signs of aging as well. Examples of these procedures are BOTOX®, peels, dermal fillers, and lasers that are being developed.
We specialize in procedures that counteract the effects of aging. The signs of aging include red moles, brown spots, wrinkles, "skin tags", loss of fat in the face, addition of fat in unwanted areas, and changes in skin texture and color.
