Moles
"Moles" are skin growths that can be an early sign of skin cancer or just a cosmetic nuisance. Any mole that is changing in size or color must be seen by your general dermatologist right away to determine that it is not a serious form of skin cancer known as melanoma. Moles that are either benign or unattractive to you can be removed by one of several different ways. All of the related procedures are quick, easy and relatively painless provided the use of a topical anesthetic cream called Ela-Max. If you want moles removed, please come 40 minutes early for your appointment so that we can apply the numbing cream and give it time to work. You can also buy Ela-Max at a pharmacy without a prescription and apply it yourself 30 - 40 minutes prior to your appointment. Cover the cream with tape or plastic wrap to avoid getting it all over yourself.
Cost Range: $125 - $300 per treatment
